The next Community Workshop on City of San Diego on the Ocean Beach Pier Renewal Project is on April 6th, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm, during which the Preferred Design Concept will be revealed to the public.

This design is based on the feedback we've received from a year of public outreach, which included three community meetings, weekly pop-up booths at significant events, flyer outreach, email outreach, and input from 5,000 participants in our online survey.

Three preliminary design concepts were developed from this public outreach. After getting additional input from the public on these three concepts, the city's consultant design team has come up with a Preferred Design Concept for the potential Ocean Beach Pier Replacement Project.
